50 kg bags: the retail workhorse
The 50 kg PP woven bag is the default for markets where product moves from importer to distributor to farmer. It handles easily by two people, stacks efficiently, and suits container shipment. For humid destinations, an inner PE liner is the difference between free-flowing prills and a solid block — we recommend liners for tropical markets as standard.
25 kg bags: where labor economics allow
25 kg bags suit markets with smaller farm plots or retail channel requirements. The trade-off is more bags, more handling and higher packing cost per tonne. Common in specific Asian and African markets where the retail chain demands it.
1000 kg jumbo bags: the B2B default
FIBC jumbo bags are the standard for plantations, blenders and industrial users who move product by forklift and pallet. They cut handling cost sharply, suit mechanical unloading, and palletize neatly in containers. For automotive grade urea and industrial offtake, jumbo bags are the usual choice.
Bulk vessels: for volume
Above a certain contract size, bags stop making sense and bulk vessels take over. Bulk trade shifts the quality burden to logistics: hold cleanliness inspection, loading rate planning and sampling during loading. The savings in packaging cost are significant, but the buyer needs reception infrastructure — silos or covered storage — at the discharge port.
