Urea leaves the port in one of three directions — into DEF/AdBlue plants, onto fields, or into industrial processes. Each application has its own specification logic.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid Production
SCR-equipped diesel vehicles — trucks, buses, machinery — consume a 32.5% urea solution (AUS 32) to cut NOx emissions. Blenders dissolve automotive grade urea in demineralized water under controlled conditions. Raw material purity decides the quality of the final fluid and the life of the catalyst.

Crop Nutrition & NPK Blending
Prilled and granular urea 46% N is the backbone of world nitrogen fertilization — applied directly to fields, dissolved for fertigation, or blended with phosphates and potash into NPK compounds. Particle size and hardness determine how well the product travels through the buyer’s distribution chain.
- Direct application: base dressing and top dressing
- Blending: size-matched with DAP / MAP / MOP
- Packaging: 50 kg bags for retail chains, jumbo bags for plantations
Resins, Adhesives & Denitration
Industrial urea is a chemical feedstock: urea-formaldehyde and melamine resins for plywood and board adhesives, and NOx reduction (SNCR/SCR) in boilers and power plants. Specification is negotiated per process — biuret, ash and insoluble content matter more here than in agriculture.
